| What is Cursillo? | Cursillo is an adult faith enhancement
retreat.
|
| Who can experience a Cursillo? | Anyone who seeks to strengthen their
relationship with Christ.
|
| Who Sponsors Cursillo? | The Peoria Catholic Diocese for all
denominations.
|
| Why is this so important? | It's important to teach and grow together
in our faith journey and to form a community of Christians.
|
| How many times can you make a Cursillo? | You make a Cursillo once as a candidate,
however, you can come back to be part of the program, either behind the
scenes or as part of the presenting team.
|
| How often are these events held? | Approximately 3 Mens and 3 Womens
throughout each year.
|
| Where do you go to sign up for a Cursillo? | You should speak with someone who
has been on a weekend. This is what we call a sponsor. However, if you
do not have a sponsor talk to your local spiritual director or clergy,
if that doesn't work call us directly. For more info you can go to the

| What is TEC? | TEC is a christian weekend retreat
for teens. TEC is geared directly for teens, however, adults are welcome
to participate or actually make a weekend.
|
| Can an adult be on a TEC weekend? | Yes, this is called an adult observer,
or, an adult can be a speaker.
|
| Who Sponsors TEC? | The Catholic Peoria Diocese is the
main sponsor.
|
| Do local schools support TEC? | Most schools support the TEC program,
which means they will allow for an excused day off. Please check with
your local school to verify this. As you may know schools cannot openly
solicite teens to make a weekend due to legal regulations.

| What are the costs of a TEC weekend? | Each weekend costs approx. $60, which
includes everything, yes, even food, and lots of it!
|
| How often are these events held? | TEC offers 4 boys weekends and 4 girls
weekends throughout each year.
|
| Is this a type of cult or brainwashing for teens? | Never, TEC is very open about what
they do and you are more than welcome to contact them anytime. If you
